Prof. Robert Perinbanayagam was a featured speaker at the annual conference of the Kenneth Burke Society in June 2008. He presented a paper entitled: "The Rhetoric of Robert Kennedy's Battles".
Professor Marnia Lazreg's new book, Torture and the Twilight of Empire: From Algiers to Baghdad was published by Princeton University Press in March 2008
