  • Prof. Robert Perinbanayagam was a featured speaker at the annual conference of the Kenneth Burke Society in June 2008. He presented a paper entitled: "The Rhetoric of Robert Kennedy's Battles".
  • Professor Marnia Lazreg's new book, Torture and the Twilight of Empire: From Algiers to Baghdad was published by Princeton University Press in March 2008
  • GSR Spring 2008 Seminar Series
    Through the generosity of Hunter College Graduate Investment Funds, the Graduate Student Association, and President Raab, the GSR program is able to offer a Spring seminar series to better meet student interests and needs.
