Mimi Abramovitz delivered the following two keynote addresses:

Mimi Abramovitz, Bertha Capen Reynolds Professor of Social Policy, Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, CUNY delivered the following two keynote addresses: The Feminization of Austerity, on March 16 .2012 to the Annual Field Educator’s Symposium in New York City, and  Triple Jeopardy Women Lose Public Sector Services, Jobs and Union Rights,on March 30, 2012 to the Annual Meeting of the  Pennsylvania Association of Undergraduate Social Work Education State College Pennsylvania. She also received a Roosevelt House Associates Travel Grant.

On April 26. 2012 Mimi Abramovitz, Bertha Capen Reynolds Professor of Social Policy Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and The Graduate Center, CUNY Was interviewed by Anrie Arnesen for her show "Attitude with Arnie" WNHN 94.7 Concord , New Hampshire about  the Impact of the attack on women as public sector program users, employees and union memberd

On the Brink | The New Face of Poverties a series that examines life for those who have fallen out of the middle class through the lens of New Yorkers such as Yolanda Cotto, a mother of three who is unemployed and at the precipice of homelessness as she, like many Americans, grapples with supporting her family while trying to get back on her feet.

Dean Mondros was recognized for her work and dedication to the East Harlem community by the East Harlem Consortium of Agencies, at their November 17 Meeting. The presentation included a proclamation-provided by Jose Serrano and also one from Scott Stringer.
