HCSSW has been selected by the American International Health Alliance (AIHA) as the US collaborator for a partnership program in Nigeria. Professor Antonio Young will be project coordinator and Professors Willie Tolliver and Darrell Wheeler will also work on the project.

Gary Mallon chaired the Child Residential Review Commission in Louisiana which reported the results of a statewide review of child residential facilities conducted by the Department of Social Services, Department of Health and Hospitals and Office of Juvenile Justice at a news conference Friday, August 22nd.
