DISABILITIES: Medical Conditions
Medical Conditions may include, but are not limited to Asthma, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, HIV-AIDS, Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Lupus, Heart disease, Chrohn’s Disease, Sickle Cell Anemia, and Epilepsy.
Available Support
The support and accommodations provided each student is based upon the documentation presented by the student. Each person’s documentation is evaluated and the student will discuss reasonable accommodations with a disability specialist. Some of the accommodations utilized by students with psychological and or medical conditions include:
- Personal, academic and career track counseling
- Program planning and advisement specific to a student's needs
- Priority registration
- Alternative test taking accommodations
- Locker (lockers are assigned based on priorities)
