TRANSFER/TESTING CREDITS
A maximum of 30 credits can be awarded by examination through the College Entrance Examination Board Advanced Placement (AP) and the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). A maximum of 16 credits can be awarded through College Now, a collaboration between The City University of New York and the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE).
Some academic departments at Hunter may have restrictions on the awarding of credits by examination. Students are advised to check with the appropriate academic department and to visit the Office of Admissions for additional infoRmation. In all cases, an official transcript must be sent directly to Hunter's Office of Admissions for credits to be awarded.
