Career Counseling

Counselors explore and evaluate the students’ education, training, work history, interests, skills, and personal traits to assist in choosing a major and career. Students can make individual appointments with a career counselor to help identify and explore personal and professional goals, resolve confusion, and aid in decision making regarding choosing a major and a career.

 

Résumé, Cover Letters & Interviews

Meet with a counselor to have your résumé and cover letter critiqued. Schedule a mock interview to help you be successful in your job and internship search.

On-Site Recruitment for Part Time Jobs

Employers from local businesses come to Hunter to meet with students for part time employment opportunities. Check the CAREERHUNTER Events Calendar for upcoming recruitment dates.

 

On-Campus Recruitment

Career Expos

Employers from a variety of fields attend career fairs to recruit students for part-time/full-time jobs, and internship opportunities.

 

Career Panels

Guest speakers, including alumni, working in various corporations, organizations, and career fields provide information and networking opportunities.

Each semester workshops are offered in a variety of topics related to career development and job search preparation.
