Counseling & Wellness Services (CWS) provides mental health, health and wellness services aimed at enhancing students’ quality of life and maximizing personal and academic growth and development.
provides short-term individual counseling, crisis intervention, psycho-education, outreach, and referral to the Hunter College student body, as well as consultation services to faculty, staff, students and others.
strives to reduce health-related barriers to students’ personal and academic success by providing a range of clinical services through Health Services, as well as activities, information, and resources in general health education and disease prevention through Health Promotion & Education.
- Health Services
helps students achieve personal and academic success by reducing health related barriers. Services include processing immunization records, free HIV and STI testing, and seasonal flu vaccines. Students can also obtain a Physical Activity Card (PAC) through the Office of Health Services to obtain access to Hunter's Athletics and Recreation programs and facilities.
- Health Promotion & Education
is dedicated to educating students about health-related topics and equipping them with skills to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. By developing healthy lifestyle practices, students can reach their highest academic potential and overall level of success.
