What are the password requirements?
All passwords must meet the following requirements:
•    between 8-30 characters,
•    contain at least one uppercase letter (A-Z), one lowercase letter (a-z); one number (0-9),
•    contain one of the following special characters: !@#$%^&*()_+|~-=`{}[]:";'<>?,./
•    Spaces are not allowed

What is my Username and Password?
Your username is your net ID. If you forgot your password, you can click here to reset your password, using your Hunter email address.

What if it says 'the username and password entered are invalid'?
Make sure you are entering the correct log in credentials and remember usernames and passwords are case sensitive. If you still experience issues logging in, email myhunter@hunter.cuny.edu.

- If you have an international language pack installed on your browser, please ensure that you have US-English added.

- If MyHunter is not accepting your new password, try clearing your browser cache.

Can I change my User Name?
No, your user name cannot be changed.

Can I change my password?
Yes. To change your password, simpy click 'Edit Profile' on the top left of the page (under the Hunter logo) and follow the instructions. Remember, all passwords must meet the following requirements:
•    between 8-30 characters,
•    contain at least one uppercase letter (A-Z), one lowercase letter (a-z); one number (0-9),
•    contain one of the following special characters: !@#$%^&*()_+|~-=`{}[]:";'<>?,./
•    Spaces are not allowed

What if I forget my password?
Click on the 'Forgot/Reset Password' link on the main log in page, and follow the instructions. There are also detailed instructions in the New User Guide.

How do I log in/log out?
Visit www.hunter.cuny.edu/myhunter and enter your User Name and password. Remember - passwords are case sensitive! To log out, click 'Log Out' on the top left corner of the page (under top banner).

For your security, always remember to log out of your MyHunter page. Closing the window of your browser will not log you out!

MyHunter is meant to be student friendly - so we welcome any feedback or suggestions. Submit feedback online or click the 'Submit Feedback' link on the bottom of the right column on your MyHunter page.
