Claim Your CUNYfirst Account Immediately

Why should I claim my CUNYfirst account?
CUNYfirst is used for important processes such as registration for courses, degree audit and transcripts for all students. You will need a CUNYfirst account to confirm your graduation! If you have previously attended a CUNY school and used the CUNYfirst system, you do not need to claim your account again.

How do I claim my CUNYfirst account?
For instructions, visit www.hunter.cuny.edu/cunyfirst/account-claiming-and-personal-info-guides. Once you claim your account, write down your CUNYfirst ID (it is called an Empl ID) or store it in your cell phone. You will need to know your Empl ID when seeing an advisor.
