Auschwitz Jewish Center Fellows Program
A Bridge to History
Explore the legacy of the Holocaust in Poland, its effects on collective memory, and the complexities surrounding such categories as victim, bystander, and perpetrator. This is a three-and-a-half week advanced study trip on Polish-Jewish history and the Holocaust.
- Begin in New York, then travel to Krakow,Warsaw, Łód´z, Treblinka, O´swieçcim (Auschwitz),and small towns in the region.
- Take part in an intensive program at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum.
Program dates: June 26 - July 19, 2016 (to be confirmed)
Costs: All costs except travel to the program are covered.
Open to students of all faiths and backgrounds. Students who are matriculated in graduate programs or are completing undergraduate degrees in 2016 in Holocaust studies or related fields are eligible to apply.
