Commencement Ticket Distribution at the Bookstore

Tickets will be distributed in the Hunter College Bookstore, lower level.

To pick up your tickets, you will need:

  • A copy of your Grad RSVP Form confirmation email (you can find it on your MyHunter page, under 'My Info')
  • Your photo ID
  • Cap and gown proof of purchase

Monday – Wednesday, May 23 – 25 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
Thursday, May 26 10:00 am - 3:00 pm Note: Different Time

Cap and Gown Distribution at the Bookstore

Beginning on Monday, May 16, pre-ordered cap and gowns will be distributed at the Hunter College Bookstore . If you did not pre-order your cap and gown, you can stop by the bookstore and buy them directly. Distribution will end on Wednesday, June 1.

Personalize Your Commencement Cap at the Decoration Station

Stop by our tables and get crafty with your cap! Arts-and-crafts supplies will be provided: glitter, glue gun, gems, stick-ons, paints, and more. If you have leftover art supplies to share, please bring them or contact us at designss@hunter.cuny.edu.

Show your Hunter spirit! Thank the people who got you this far. Tell us how you did it! Add an inspirational quote. Be proud to be purple!

Seize the Summer at Hunter — Registration is Still Open!

Hunter College offers two summer sessions in a variety of course lengths. Students can take up to 7 credits per session. To avoid late fees, apply now during the registration period.

The Kenneth E. Clark Student Research Award

The International Leadership Association (ILA) are pleased to partner with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) to sponsor the annual Kenneth E. Clark Student Research Award. This award recognizes outstanding unpublished papers by undergraduate and graduate students, and is named in honor of the distinguished scholar and former Chief Executive Officer of the Center.

The Travel Insurety Scholarship for Students Studying Abroad

This is a one-time $5,000 USD scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students studying outside of their home country with their educational expenses. To be eligible, you must be an American Student studying abroad or an International Student studying in the U.S. You need not be a client to be eligible.

Fredric M. Jablin Doctoral Dissertation Award

In partnership with Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond, the ILA annually presents the Fredric M. Jablin Doctoral Dissertation Award to a scholar whose doctoral dissertation research demonstrates substantial insights and implications for the study of leadership. The dissertation can be on any topic and from any discipline, and was established to honor and celebrate the life of Dr. Fredric M. Jablin.
