Children's Corps Now Hiring

Want to make a difference in the lives of families and children?

The Children's Corps is an innovative, exciting program created to equalize life opportunities for children and families involved in the child welfare system. Inspired by the model provided by Teach for America, Children's Corps recruits, trains, places, and supports individuals who are dedicated to making a difference. Corps members commit to work in agencies for two years of casework and receive a salary, benefits and further training. Throughout the two-year period Children's Corps will provide support, mentoring, and professional development for its members, as well as for the host agency.

Eligibility:

  • Must receive your bachelor's degree by June, 2015
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Salary range:

$30,000 - $38,000 and full benefits for those with an undergraduate degree

$40,000 - $45,000 for those with a MSW or related masters degree.

Summer 2015 Internships at the Smithsonian!

Internships for students in all majors are available in a wide variety of fields, at the museums, research centers and centralized offices comprising the Smithsonian. Students will have the opportunity to pursue projects in curatorial services, sustainability, education, theatre, film, video, scientific research, exhibit design, archival work, preservation, event planning, marketing, international relations, art, development, public relations, digitalization, historical research, web design and many other areas.
