Important Dates and Information for International Students:

Please read the following information carefully. These are some important dates and events you do not want to miss.

Academic Advising:

For your convenience, the International Students Office will be providing academic advising. A peer advisor can help you discern how many requirements you have completed. If you want help with the GER*, stop by the office during the following hours:

Monday: 10:30am - 12:30pm. Tuesday: 9:00am - 9:30am. Wednesday: 9:00am - 9:30am. Thursday: 11:00am - 1:00pm.

*Note: Students must meet with an academic advisor in Student Services for an official GER check.

Extended Walk-in Hours

Due to the approaching holiday season and the need for travel endorsements, the International Students Office has extended its walk-in hours on November 2^nd, 9^th, 23^rd & 30^th.  We will be open from 5:30-6:30pm on these days in addition to our usual walk-in hours, which can be found here.  Please note that an endorsed I-20 is valid for 3 months from the date of endorsement. So if you are planning on traveling abroad during the holiday season come see us at your earliest convenience.

We also have extended walk-in hours on November 16^th, 18^th & 19^th to facilitate the OPT application. We will be open from 5:30-6:30pm on these days in addition to our usual walk-in hours.  If you are graduating at the end of this semester and wish to pursue OPT, please come see us as soon as possible. We recommend filing before November 21^st and the last day to file without affecting your time in the US is December 21^st. You will find the link to the OPT form below.
