I-94 Document is Now Online
On April 30, the Department of Homeland Security began rolling out their new electronic process. This means that the paper I-94 form will no longer be needed at the airports or borders. Instead, all your information will be attached to an online record that the immigration officer can retrieve when you enter the United States. The immigration officer will stamp your passport with the entry date and your status.
If you require a copy of your I-94 (record of admission to the U.S.) for any reason, you can obtain it from this web site: www.cbp.gov/I94.
You can expect delays upon re-entry to the United States at the airports or borders to allow Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers to access and verify your SEVIS records.
