Community Service: Paint a Community Mural

One To World is proud to be partnering with CITYarts, a non-profit organization that engages youth and professional artists in the creation of public art to empower and educate them to become active participants in realizing their potential and transforming communities.

We will paint alongside CITYarts staff, community volunteers, and local youth on the CITYarts mural StoryVine in Brooklyn, NY. This mural and mosaic celebrates nature, raises awareness to the speed of climate change, and draws attention to healthy eating and sustainability. So roll up your sleeves and join us and other international students in leaving your mark on this Brooklyn community! And we promise, you don't have to be an artist or a painter to participate - no prior experience is necessary.

Registration Deadline: Tuesday, August 15
Time: 3:00 pm
Cost: $15 (includes paint, supplies, and lunch)

Date: Friday, August 18
Time: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Place: Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY
(meeting instructions will be emailed closer to the date of the program)
