Ten Scholarships for the Costa Rica programs!

Education Abroad is offering five $250 scholarships to eligible students who are participating in our summer program in Costa Rica, Spanish & Community Health in Latin America. For the fall Costa Rica program, Development Studies in Latin America, Education Abroad is offering five $500 scholarships!

Deadline: Monday, May 11 (Summer), Friday, May 1 (Fall)

Charlotte W. Newcombe Scholarship for Mature Women Students

Applications are now available for the Charlotte W. Newcombe Scholarship.  Eligible students must be undergraduate women, 25 years of age and older, who have or will have completed 60 credits by the end of this semester.  Applicants must have completed at least 24 credits at Hunter with a minimum 3.0 GPA. All applicants must demonstrate financial need by completing the FAFSA. Awards vary.

Deadline: Wednesday, May 6
Time: 5:00 pm

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and the Israeli Missions across the United States have launched a $100,000 pilot scholarship program aimed at supporting U.S. Hispanic college students. The funds will be provided by Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to offer qualified Hispanic scholars the opportunity to study abroad at outstanding colleges and universities in Israel. This national initiative will include students within The Consulate General of Israel in New York's tri-state region, which covers Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

Fulbright Grants Available: Study & Work Abroad!

Are you graduating by 2016 or already in graduate school?  If you’re thinking of going abroad to study, teach English, or do research, a Fulbright grant may offer you that opportunity in the country of your choice for a year! Hunter students have traveled to study anthropology in Thailand, religion in Germany, work in non-governmental agencies in Malawi, or teach English in Turkey and Argentina, among many other countries.
