Ten Scholarships for the Costa Rica programs!

Education Abroad is offering five $250 scholarships to eligible students who are participating in our summer program in Costa Rica, Spanish & Community Health in Latin America. For the fall Costa Rica program, Development Studies in Latin America, Education Abroad is offering five $500 scholarships!

Deadline: Friday, May 27 (for fall, 2015)

Scholarships for Puerto Rican Women

Financial awards are granted annually to undergraduate Puerto Rican women selected for their academic excellence and service to the community.

Applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Be currently matriculated as an undergraduate student in an accredited institution of higher education, having earned a minimum of 12 accumulated credits.
  • Have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.0 with no failing grades.
  • Demonstrate service to the community.
  • Provide an official college transcript.
  • Provide two (2) letters of recommendation from a professor, college advisor, employer or supervisor.
  • Submit a suitable 4"x 6" (minimum size) color photo of the applicant in appropriate professional attire.
  • Be available to attend a face-to-face interview with organization.

Fulbright Grants Available: Study, Research & Teach Abroad!

Are you graduating by 2016 or already in graduate school? If you’re thinking of going abroad to study, teach English, or do research, a Fulbright grant may offer you that opportunity in the country of your choice for a year! Hunter students have traveled to study anthropology in Thailand, religion in Germany, work in non-governmental agencies in Malawi, or teach English in Turkey and Argentina, among many other countries.
