    Digital I-20s

Based on recent guidance from the US government, the International Students Office staff are currently issuing digitally signed I-20s and DS-2019 forms.

This means that if you are a student in F-1 status and you apply for anything that requires a new I-20 (for example, a travel signature, OPT, CPT, etc.), you will receive a digital I-20 at your Hunter College email account instead of receiving a new, printed I-20, once your document is ready; only students applying for social security numbers, will require an original I-20s/DS2019 forms.
