As a first-year freshman student, we understand that making the transition from high school to college is often challenging. You will be able to schedule an orientation and registration appointment, review information about testing, find out about immunization requirements, and more. Hunter's orientation for first-year students offers an overview of everything you need to know before your first day of class.

As a transfer student, we are aware of your need to understand the academic structure of your new college. Your decision to attend Hunter College may have been made by your desire to pursue a special program we offer, by a change in your work location or by your own personal intellectual goals. The advising sessions will get you started on understanding the applicability of your previous credits to the Hunter requirements as well as acquaint you with information about your prospective major area of interest.
