SERVICES FOR STUDENTS

We offer the following free and confidential counseling services to Hunter College students:

  • Individual Counseling
  • Group Counseling
  • Crisis Intervention
  • Theme-Centered Workshops
  • Mental Health Screening
  • Referral to Other Services

Counseling Services can help students with:

  • adjustment to college
  • adjustment to a new environment/culture/lifestyle
  • homesickness
  • conflict with others
  • grief and loss
  • difficulties in making and keeping friends
  • personal and/or family crisis
  • emotional distress
  • feelings of inadequacy/loneliness
  • feeling depressed or anxious
  • sexual identity/orientation
  • sexual harassment/assault
  • traumatic experiences

Room 1123 East Building
Monday 9:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday – Thursday 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and
Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
