COURSE REQUIREMENTS

The following courses are required by medical, dental, optometry, and pharmacy programs. Additional courses may be required by veterinary schools, physical therapy programs and other allied health graduate degree programs.

Biology 100 and 102

Chemistry 102, 104 and 106 (lab)

Chemistry 222/224 (lectures) + Chemistry 223/225 labs

Physics 110 and 120 or 111 and 121

Math 150 and Stats 213 or Math 150 and  Math 155

Suggested courses:

philosophy 103 (intro to logic)

CmHe 200 (controversial issues in health)

Chem 376 (biochemistry)

Bio 202 (cell and molecular biology II)

Biology 300 (biological chemistry)

Physics 283 (biophysics)

 Additional courses in immunology, genetics, physiology and anatomy may be required by various programs.
