Student Activities Colloquium
Welcome to the Spring 2009 semester. Each semester the Office of Student Activities organizes the Student Leadership Colloquium (SLC.) The SLC workshops are designed to introduce students to new and different concepts and theories of leadership, and to offer them opportunities to enhance their leadership skills. Workshops are held once a month during the semester. Those who attend all of the workshops will receive a Certificate of Attendance from the Dean of Students Office. The first spring 2009 SLC is Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 1:00pm in room 417 West Building. This workshop is titled “The Leadership Edge: Making the College Years Count!” presented by Ms. Jerrilyn Hedrington. Ms. Hedrington will confront the critical social, environmental and community issues in this challenging economy through co curricular and civic involvement that will ultimately help you shape your community and the world.
