This training include discussions about college policies, the relationship between student government and student organizations, balancing academic and co-curricular responsibilities, functions of the executive board, program planning and budgeting, issues of leadership, diversity and multiculturalism and much more. In addition to the various discussion there will be adequate time for enjoying the many amenities included in your stay. Some of these include indoor & outdoor pools, tennis, miniature golf, health spa with gym, sauna and steam room, ping-pong video game room, basketball, shuffle board, and more!
Currently we have space for 50 students and are asking organizations to select 2 members from their executive board to attend. In order to attend, each organization must have completed the entire chartering process with the exception of the CA workshop by September 20; confirmations will be granted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Depending on response and available space, we may be able to accommodate additional students and will notify those organizations without representation as soon as that information is available.
