PROGRAMS: Hunter Has Heart (Triple H)

Hunter Has Heart (Triple H) is a year long social justice program designed to improve communities through volunteerism and advocacy.

There is no minimum service requirement to join.  Participants must be currently registered, in good academic standing and have an interest in volunteerism and social justice. Triple H participants will have the opportunity to participate in various group and individual volunteer projects.  Outstanding volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in our Winter Retreat and Spring Outing!

Program Requirements

You must be in good academic standing and have an interest in volunteerism and social justice.  All participants will be required to attend a New York Cares volunteer orientation and join the Hunter Has Heart Facebook Group.

New York Cares, New York's largest volunteer organization, offers thousands of short-term and long-term volunteer projects.  The Office of Student Activities will host an on-campus volunteer orientation.  If you are unable to attend, you must make arrangements to attend an orientation with New York Cares.

The Facebook Group page will be used for group discussion, project ideas and group project sign-up.

Volunteer Service Hours

There is no minimum number of volunteer hours required for the program; however, there is a minimum service requirement and deadline for program incentives.

All group projects will be led by the Office of Student Activities. Participants can locate and sign up for individual projects using the New York Cares volunteer database.
