WELCOME TO THE SYLVIA E. FISHMAN STUDENT CENTER

The Sylvia E. Fishman Student Center, an extension of the Office of Student Services, was created to provide a safe, friendly, educational and supportive environment for all students and to help students create a strong foundation for their education. In the Center, students have the opportunity to discuss academic and personal issues with professional staff advisors and receive assistance with program planning from our Peer Advisors.

Hunter's Peer Advisors are ready to help you understand and select specific courses that satisfy the General Education Requirement (GER). Are you confused about the General Education Requirements (GERs)? Are you having problems with understanding which course will satisfy a particular stage of the GERs? If so, Peer Advisors are ready to assist you! They will be at:
Starting September 9th (every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday), the program will run from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm at the following locations:
Mondays: 3rd Floor West (except on 9/14/09 - at 3rd Floor North)
Wednesdays: OASIS
Thursdays: 3rd Floor West (except on 10/1/09 - at 3rd Floor North)

To reserve space in the center for an event, print out the SEFSC Reservation Form, fill it out and bring it to the Student Center, 417 Hunter West, for confirmation.
