PROVISIONS & PROCEDURES FOR VETERANS: Active or Training Checklist

- Provide copy of orders with dates of duty to Certifying Official as soon as possible.
-
Discuss grading options with instructors. Having attended 13 weeks or
completed 85% of the term’s work entitles you to full credit for each
course you’ve earned a C or better in. At the discretion of the
instructor, you may also enter into an “Incomplete” contract to
complete the remainder of your coursework by the end of the following
semester.
- If you do not
qualify to receive grades for your courses, and if Incompletes are not
an option, you may Withdraw from your classes or have them deleted from
your record, and possibly be entitled to a refund.
- Read Course Withdrawal/Deletion options and Financial Aid implications.
-
In the event you are unable to contact the Certifying Official and/or
your instructors prior to your deployment, you should contact them at
your first available opportunity. Steps may then be taken retroactively
to ensure you receive the appropriate grades or Withdrawals/Deletions,
and whatever refunds you may be entitled to. You will need to provide a
copy of your activation orders to the Certifying Official to begin this
process.
