Rita & Burton Goldberg MFA Playwriting Program

Playwriting is an art as well as a craft. The Rita and Burton Goldberg MFA in Playwriting is a selective two-year program that fuses hands-on playwriting workshops with academic classes in the history and practice of theatre.  Our playwriting faculty - Annie Baker, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, and Brighde Mullins - work with a small cohort of students who develop their art and their craft under the personal mentorship of these accomplished writers and
teachers.
