Goals/Learning/grades: Statements that expressed students a significant goal for their time at Hunter. College readiness emotional/psychological: Statements that indicate levels of personal responsibility, discipline, and time management skills. College readiness academic: Statements that indicate levels of study skills and academic preparedness. Reasons for choosing Hunter: Statements about why student chose to attend HunterReasons for leaving Hunter: Statements about why students might decide to leave Hunter before completion of degree. Social Codes Diversity: Any statement in which students referred to the diversity at Hunter College. Culture: Statements addressing the general atmosphere at Hunter.In particular as it relates to the student body. All statements regarding a “feeling” at Hunter or statements about the student body that are non-academic Facilities +/-: Any positive or negativestatement about the various facilities at Hunter.This included building structures, bathrooms, library, classrooms, cafeteria and wall color.Clubs: Student experience, knowledge and opinions of clubs at Hunter.In addition any suggestions that might be made. Love Hunter: All statements that refer to reasons why students love/like Hunter.Also various positive statements about elements of Hunter students like that do not fit in other categories Overcrowded: All statements that refer to Hunter being crowded.These statements can pertain to advising, administration, academic experiences Money: Concerns about money as it relates to Hunter. Academic CodesOther classroom experiences positive: All positive classroom experiences students experienced Other classroom experiences negative: all negative classroom experiences students experienced Faculty Positive/Negative: Experiences with faculty that were positive or negative Perceptions of other students: What students thought about the student body at Hunter with regards to academics and class room experiences Faculty Advising: Any mention of departmental advising experiences.Other academic experiences positive/negative:All academic experiences outside of classroom experiences for example utilizing academic resources at Hunter. Challenging/Easy: Academic experiences identified as challenging, hard or difficult, or conversely, as easy or simple. Administrative Codes/Student Services: Any discussion that included academic advising within the student services office or general experiences within this office.Requirements:Any discussion of pluralism and diversity, distribution, major and minor requirements at Hunter ORSEM: Discussion pertaining to student experience, opinions and suggestions with regard to ORSEM. Classes Closed: All discussion about the registration process at Hunter and difficulty or ease of getting into classes.
