Resources for Teaching Remotely

During the semester, faculty may need to quickly respond to circumstances that necessitate online instruction. Blackboard, our supported learning management system, can be used to structure course content and communicate with students. Course shells are created for every course listed on CUNYFirst but instructors need to make a course available to students if they intend to use it.

For recommendations regarding what tools to use to meet instructional purposes, please see Instructional Needs & Tools to Consider. A list of CUNY tools and their capabilities can be found at CUNY Cloud Systems' Feature Guide for Faculty
