| Markus Bidell (Educational Foundations and Counseling) |
Jason Wirtz (Curriculum and Teaching/English) |
February 11, 2010
Student-created video projects can be an effective way to engage students and bring course concepts to life. In this session, Professor Wirtz discussed how students in English 120 and in a graduate-level education course created digital poems, weaving together a rich variety of media including text, image, film, and audio. Professor Bidell discussed how graduate students created videos illustrating theories of counseling, giving students an opportunity to apply the theories they were learning about. Additional details about these projects, along with examples of student work, can be found by following the links under "Presenter Materials" below.
