The Hunter College Department of Recruitment and Outreach, also known as the Welcome Center, is committed to recruiting students who have achieved academic excellence and who are culturally diverse. The Welcome Center fulfills its mission by partnering with NYC high schools and community organizations by attending over 200 recruitment events/college fairs, offering pre-admissions academic advising, hosting informational events and weekly information session tours that educate prospective students about Hunter and its offerings.
