Hunter’s sixth annual Undergraduate Research Conference will take place April 25-26, 2018. The conference provides a forum for Hunter undergraduates from all disciplines and departments to present their research or scholarship via poster sessions and oral presentations. The conference includes lunch sessions on preparing for and thriving in graduate school and pursuing research opportunities. An awards ceremony honors the best student posters and oral presentations.

Submissions are due March 26th, 2018. Click here for the 2018 Request for Proposals where you will also find the abstract submission link and the faculty approval link. ALL disciplines and departments are encourgaged to use this platform to present thier undergraduate research!


If you are not a presenter but would like to attend the 2018 Undergraduate Research Conference click here to register in advance. Those who register early will be entered into a free raffle for prizes distributed at the award ceremony. Refreshments will be provided near the poster presentations at all UGRC sessions.

The Rockowitz Writing Center is offering help in polishing the text of the poster presentation of the pacticipants in the Hunter College Undergraduate Research Conference. Bring your poster's text to the Writing Center, in the Silverstein Student Success Center on the 7th floor of the Library, during the following times:

Tuesday April 10th: 2:30pm - 3:30pm

Saturday April 14th: 11:00am - 12:00pm

Monday April 16th: 11:00am - 2:00pm or 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Tuesday April 17th: 2:30pm - 3:30pm

Saturday April 21st: 11:00am - 12:00pm

Monday April 23rd: 11:00am - 2:00pm or 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Tuesday April 24th: 2:30pm - 3:30pm

Sign in for a Drop-in Session, and a writing Center tutor will help you check your text for correctness and clarity. Make your poster presentation the best it can be.
