How to Apply

All applicants, including current Hunter students, must file a CUNY TRANSFER APPLICATION to apply for the Community Health Education (COMHE) major. Applicants must meet COMHE prerequisite requirements by the start of the semester for which you are applying.

Transferring Credits

Applicants who have taken courses at another college must request an evaluation of transfer credits and submit a credit transfer request form. The evaluation is done through the Office of Admissions, NOT The School of Health Sciences. All approved transfer credits must have a Hunter course equivalent except for courses used as Hunter "Open Electives". Check with Admissions or Academic Advising to determine the status of all courses taken at other colleges or universities. The student alone cannot decide the final status of his or her transfer credits or equivalents.
