Catherine Green

Ms. Green began professional ballet training at the North Carolina School of the Arts. She performed with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Ballet Met before attending Purchase College, graduating in 1990 with a BFA in dance. She then appeared with both ballet and modern dance companies, including Nai-ni Chen Dance Company, Ernesta Corvino's Dance Circle Company and Ballet Mink Colbert, and she received an MA in dance education from New York University in 2003. In addition to teaching ballet in the Hunter College Dance Program, Ms. Green coordinates "Elevate," the public school education program of Brooklyn Ballet.
