Current Events Listings

The Hunter College Dance Program is dedicated to dance as a performing art. The opportunities to choreograph and perform are extensive. During the academic year the students at Hunter produce fifteen to twenty performances of over thirty choreographic works. These pieces range from first time student works to the Harkness Choreographer in Resident to the works of other renown professionals based in New York. The Dance Legacy program also includes revivals of the classic modern dance works from the 20th Century.
