The 40 Under Forty Alumni Awards celebrate outstanding Hunter alumni who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and impact in their professional and personal lives before the age of 40. Nominate an outstanding alum for our prestigious 40 Under Forty list and help us honor their impact. Nominations close March 31, 2026.
Must hold an undergraduate or graduate degree from Hunter College.
Must be under the age of 40 during the calendar year 2026 (born on or after January 1, 1986).
Must exemplify the mission of Hunter through:
Leadership in their profession or community.
Commitment to lifelong learning and ethical responsibility.
Demonstrated impact that reflects the college’s values of integrity, innovation, and service.
Self-nominations are welcome, but must be accompanied by a letter of support from someone other than the nominee.
Please include any supporting documents such as:
Resume or CV
Articles or publications
Press releases
Awards or recognitions
Other materials that highlight the nominee’s accomplishments and impact.
Achievements may include professional success, entrepreneurial ventures, community service, advocacy, or contributions to arts, sciences, education, or public service.
Nominees should serve as role models for current students and fellow alumni.
