CLASSROOM SERVICES
Classroom accommodations are determined during the initial interview between the Office of AccessABILITY Intake Counselor and the student. These services are specifically tailored to the students' needs in order to create parity.
ALTERNATIVE TEXT FORMAT
For eligible students, the Office of AccessABILITY will help to convert textbooks or other printed class materials into alternative formats, such as electronic text, PDF, enlarged print, Braille and tactile graphics.

ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGIES
Technological supports such as laptops, smartpens, recording devices, FM Loop devices, and personal Braille input devices can be made available for classroom use. Technological supports are coordinated between the student, the faculty and the Office of AccessABILITY.

DEAF & HARD OF HEARING PROGRAM
The Office of AccessABILITY's Deaf & Hard of Hearing Program (DHHP) provides a variety of high quality interpreting and transcription services for registered students and for activities required by their classes, as confirmed by CUNY faculty members.

NOTE TAKING SERVICES
This service is provided to qualified students with documented disabilities such as blind/visually impaired, deaf/hard of hearing, hand or upper extremity limitations and other related learning difficulties.
