Archeology Masters Student in the News....For an Odd Find
Archeology Masters student, Lisa Geiger has had international press coverage for a paper she presented at the Society for Historic Archaeology meetings - on the history of a particular item used for women's personal hygiene. Last summer she did an Independent Study and wrote a paper about a curious artifact that was found in the City Hall Park excavations. She subsequently presented this paper at the Society for Historic Archaeology meetings, and it got press coverage that has gone viral, world-wide.
