Professor Shanti Thakur Wins 2014 Special Jury Award at CINE

Professor Shanti Thakur, of the Film & Media Department, has been given the 2014 Special Jury Award at CINE (Council on International Nontheatrical Events), the top award in its category, for her film Red Tulips, A Story About Forgetting. This is the second CINE award Professor Thakur has earned for her film, the first being the Golden Eagle Award, presented in 2013.
