lya Korsunsky is a computer science and quantitative biology major at Hunter College, expected to graduate May 2011. He is interested in understanding cancer by algorithmically modeling signaling pathways from data and a prior knowledge. He has worked in computational vision with Dr. Ioannis Stamos, formal modeling with Dr. Edmund Clarke, model simulation with Dr. James Faeder and cancer modeling with Dr. Bud Mishra. His personal interests include competitive ballroom dance, yoga and cooking. He expects to begin a PhD program in computational biology in September 2011.
