The Arabic Minor requires the successful completion of ARB 201, 202, 301 and 302 or their equivalent as determined by the Arabic Program Head. ARB 149 can be taken in lieu of ARB 302.

Prerequisites for the minor: ARB 101-102 or equivalent (6 credits, part of FL requirement)

Arabic Studies Minor

The Arabic Studies minor requires the successful completion of 4 ARB courses on cultural or literary topics taught in English or in Arabic. Up to two Arabic language courses may be used to fulfill the minor requirements in lieu of two culture or literature courses.
