Those students who would like to graduate with Honors in the program are eligible to do so if they are majors and who have an overall GPA of 3.0 and a program GPA of 3.5. Students who wish to take the Honors course (RUSS 49100) require permission of the head of the program prior to registering.

In order to complete the course the student has to confirm the topic of the honors project with the supervisor chosen among the faculty, create a bibliography, discuss the progress of his/her research with the supervisor on a regular basis and submit the final 30 pp. research paper in the end of the semester.
