Silberman’s Master’s Program Ranked 18th in Nation
The Silberman School of Social Work's master's program has been ranked 18th in the nation by thebestschools.org, an independent source for college, university, and career information. The ranking is consistent with U.S. News & World Report, which rates the Silberman School 16th in the nation.
Three other New York schools made it onto thebestschools.org's list of the top 25 social work master's programs: Columbia (4th), Fordham (11th) and NYU (22nd).
The Lois V. and Samuel J. Silberman School of Social Work recently moved into its new building on 119th Street in East Harlem, placing it in the heart of one of the major communities it serves. The faculty and students have already forged close ties to local community groups and organizations, relationships that are expected to have a significant impact on the future of social work.
