Hunter Announces Appointment of Two New Staff Members

This semester, Hunter is delighted to announce the appointments of two new staff members:

James Gleba, the new Assistant Vice President of Facilities, comes to Hunter from Barnard College, where he was the Owners Representative on their new $175 million Teaching and Learning Building. Prior to his tenure at Barnard College, James served as the Director for Construction at the Department of Design, Construction and Management at CUNY, where he was involved in all CUNY-managed capital projects at 23 college campuses within the University system. Before coming to CUNY, James worked at the NYC Housing Authority as a Director for Capital Project overseeing all aspects of capital projects, from inception to completion.
 
Joseph D. Foelsch, the new Director of Public Safety, recently retired from his position as Supervisory Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. There, he performed various investigative duties, including civil rights violations, counterintelligence, counterespionage and counterterrorism matters. Prior to joining the FBI, he served for six years as a machinist mate in the US Navy onboard a fast attack nuclear powered submarine.
