The choice to study abroad is a personal one and the Office of Education Abroad will do our best to support students in their decision, together with our partner organizations.

Argentina
Take six credits in Spanish language or literature in Argentina.
Dates: January 3 - January 24
Australia
Learn about Australian history, politics and geography and engage with key social and political issues, including Indigenous rights, gender relations, inequality, multiculturalism, national identity and Australia's place in the world.
Dates: January 5 - January 25
Ghana
Hunter College joins forces with SUNY Brockport to provide students with a unique experience in Ghana, at the University of Ghana at Legon. Accra has a lively nightlife and an "non-touristy" atmosphere.
Dates: December 28, 2019 - January 19
Italy
This course offers a survey of the literature of the Italian Renaissance in Florence. A study of the contribution in the fields of art, politics, and philosophy by the likes of Machiavelli, Leonardo, and Michelangelo.
Dates: January 2 - January 24
Jordan
Study in Jordan this January with Hunter College's Arabic Language program in Amman. Amman is a vibrant, diverse, and safe Arab capital. Our program is held at the Qasid Institute, Arabic language institute.
Dates: December 29 - January 24
Uganda
This exciting program offers a course in the study of primate diversity, ecology, behavior and conservation in an African rainforest that hosts some of the highest densities of primates in the world.
Dates: January 4 - January 19

Still searching for the perfect winter opportunity? Hunter College students can also study abroad through CUNY, Affiliated programs (SUNY, CIEE, CIS Abroad, IES Abroad, and USAC), or may submit an External program for approval.

Note that all tuition costs on program descriptions are listed at the in state rate for matriculated CUNY students. If you pay out of state tuition and/or you plan to apply to one of our programs as a non-degree (non-CUNY) student, your tuition rate will be higher.
Additionally, program fees are calculated based on the tuition rate at Hunter College. If you attend a CUNY community college, you may be required to pay the tuition differential.
