Hunter College has pledged to reduce its carbon footprint by taking specific, concrete actions in areas such as energy use, recycling and other campus operations. We are reducing our consumption of natural resources, reusing and recycling materials that would otherwise end up in the waste stream, and we are transitioning to cleaning products and other maintenance applications that are gentler on the environment.
