This is Hunter College’s first-ever Giving Day — and it’s powered by you. On #HunterGives, supporters come together to invest in what matters most to them, from student scholarships and academic programs to research, wellness, and campus initiatives. Your gift helps Hunter students cross the bridge from potential to achievement, becoming the leaders, educators, nurses, and innovators our world needs. What is Giving Day?
Giving Day is Hunter’s 24-hour celebration of generosity — a day when our entire community comes together to Bridge the Future for our students.

When is it?
April 29, 2026
From 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., every gift counts.

Why does it matter?
Because Hunter students are building what’s next — for New York City and beyond.

Giving Day fuels:

• Scholarships and emergency support
• Academic programs and research
• Career preparation and internships
• Student success initiatives

When we give together, we remove barriers and unlock opportunity.

Where does my gift go?
You decide.

Support a school, department, scholarship, the Student Impact & Success Fund, or Hunter’s greatest need. Every gift strengthens student success.

Are gifts tax-deductible?
Yes. Hunter College is part of the City University of New York, and gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You’ll receive a confirmation email for your records.

Can I give early?
Absolutely. Early gifts count toward Giving Day totals and help us build excitement before April 29.
