Know Your Rights: Legal Protections for TGNCNB New Yorkers
Join us at the Maralyn G. Cohn LGBTQ+ Community Space, Thomas Hunter Room 311 for a workshop detailing the rights available to transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming New Yorkers on Wednesday, April 30th, at 2:30PM! We will be hearing from the New York City Commission on Human Rights about discrimination protections under the City Human Rights Law and going over correct terminology when addressing the LGBTQIA+ community. The workshop will also touch on the status of state and federal law as they relate to trans and nonbinary rights. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend! Lunch will be provided.
