"Preschool to Prison" Short Film Screening & Dialogue in Healing
Join us for an immersive experience and the premiere of the award-winning film Preschool to Prison, which exposes how children from black and brown communities, are unfairly labeled and funneled from school to prison for minor infractions.
Trauma affects the whole collective, but so does Healing.
Systemic change begins as an inside-out process. We will tend to our mind, body, and spirit as we heal our own wounds by engaging in embodied awareness practices with Awareness in Motion and dialogue circles with filmmaker Dr. Karen Baptiste.
Space is limited, please RSVP.
Presented by Hunter College's Collaborative for Social Emotional Learning & Leading (C-SELL).
